Solyman Omar serves as Vice President, Aftermarket Americas for FDH Hardware.

In his role, Solyman serves as a key leader for all commercial sales activities overseeing pipeline development, internal sales pursuit process, proposal support, customer negotiations, contract closure, and managing the Aftermarket Americas team. He reports to President of FDH Hardware, Matt Lacki.

Prior to joining FDH Aero, Solyman served as the Chief Executive Officer of Jaco Aerospace, a leading technology-driven solutions provider for the civil and defense aerospace sectors. There, he led the distribution of all aerospace parts, chemicals, and expendable products for global aftermarket customers. During his tenure, Solyman increased productivity 60% by rearchitecting their order management process, decreased SG&A costs by 25%, relocated the organization, and increased gross margins 15% by implementing valued based pricing initiatives. Solyman has also held leadership roles at The Transdigm Group, Boeing Global Services, and Aviall.

With over 24 years of experience as an aerospace distribution and business executive, Solyman’s background in sales, program management, business development, leadership, and overall P&L accountability will continue to help drive value for FDH’s aftermarket customers and supplier partners. His leadership philosophy is to lead by motivating, inspiring, and creating long-lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Solyman earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with Emphasis in Marketing from California State University, Northridge.
