WX200 Expandable Braided Sleeve

WX200 is an expandable, abrasion resistant, highly flame retardant braided sleeve used on cable assemblies, wire harnesses and hoses. It is made from Halar®(E-CTFE) fluoropolymer monofilaments that are highly resistant to most solvents and hydrocarbons, such as jet fuels, gasoline, diesel fuels, hydraulic fluids and cleaning fluids. Halar® is low outgassing and will not support combustion in air. WX200 is an excellent choice anywhere that high temperature, extreme flammability and excellent chemical resistance are essential.

Construction Options Expand-A-Wrap (EW) - Expand-A-Wrap combines the technology of WX100 & WX150 and hook & loop to from an expandable wrap-a-round tubing. This unique design not only allows you to quickly and easily protect your assembly without disturbing existing connections, but also allows you quick access back into the assembly for any unforeseen rework. Expand-A-Wrap is the only choice for protecting or bundling existing systems. Available in sizes: 1/2", 3/4", 11/4" & 2" Tight Weave (TW) - Tight Weave is available in WX100, WX200, and WX300. Each type with Tight Weave construction offers all of the properties of the standard product, except that coverage and density have been significantly increased at the expense of flexibility. Tight Weave should be considered where snag-resistance, coverage protection and cosmetics are critical.
