FDH Aero announces the launch of its FDH Hardware division, unifying the previously rebranded Blue Sky Industries (BSI), Société AHE, and Madison Aerospace. This strategic integration strengthens FDH Aero’s commitment to providing innovative hardware solutions across aerospace and defense sectors. In July 2024, FDH Aero expanded its Bremen, Germany facility into a Center of Excellence for the EMEA region. This milestone triples the warehouse capacity in Europe and enhances global supply chain capabilities. The facility will support aerospace and defense customers with streamlined procurement, integrating local expertise and a broad inventory to simplify the supply chain and drive long-term success.
FDH Aero establishes FDH Defense Aftermarket, retiring the Unical brand for a unified identity. This transition simplifies aerospace and defense procurement, strengthening FDH’s position as a top supplier for government contractors and defense professionals. FDH Defense Aftermarket offers life-of-program support, from licensing programs to parts, with a focus on military product solutions for OEMs, governments, and Maintenance Repair Stations.
FDH Aero formally retires the BTC Electronics brand, rebranding and integrating officially into the FDH Electronics division. The inclusion of BTC within FDH Electronics is the latest development in FDH Aero’s enterprise-wide commitment to simplify procurement for the aerospace and defense industries. The name change reflects a deeper strategy within FDH Aero to better serve customers of its many established brands, through a simplified and integrated company-wide procurement and fulfillment structure under a single, robust brand. To drive operational efficiencies, FDH Aero consolidates Madison’s inventory into its 120,000-square-foot Center of Excellence, at its headquarters in Commerce, California.
