WX100 Expandable Braided Sleeve

WX100 is an expandable braided sleeve used on cable assemblies, wire harnesses and hoses. It is made from tough, abrasion resistant, polyester monofilament fibers that are resistant to most solvents and hydrocarbons, such as jet fuels, gasoline, diesel fuels, hydraulic fluids and cleaning fluids. The open weave design not only allows it to be extremely flexible but also allows for complete drainage thus preventing moisture and mildew buildup. WX100 is an excellent choice anywhere abrasion protection and low cost wire bundling is required.

Construction Options	Fray Stop (FS) - Fray Stop is a special construction offered in WX100 and WX150. This fray resistant construction helps eliminate fraying of cut ends, which in turn makes hot knife cutting and its associated hazards unnecessary. Waste associated with ends unraveling due to handling is also greatly reduced. Heavy Duty (HD) - Heavy Duty is available in WX100 only. This braid is constructed from monofilament with a larger diameter (0.015"), providing up to twice the abrasion and impact protection as the standard weaves. Cut through resistance is greatly improved with very little change in flexibility. Heavy Duty weave is a great chose anywhere extreme abrasion and durability are of the highest concern. Tight Weave (TW) - Tight Weave is available in WX100, WX200, and WX300. Each type with Tight Weave construction offers all of the properties of the standard product, except that coverage and density have been significantly increased at the expense of flexibility. Tight Weave should be considered where snag-resistance, coverage protection and cosmetics are critical.
